The Research Association for Air and Drying Technology (FLT) has a new chairman in Ralf Wagner, LTG AG. "The FLT is well positioned and will strengthen the innovative power of the industry with its projects," said Wagner in his inaugural speech. At the same time, he paid tribute to the 20-year commitment of Peter Fenkl, the previous chairman of the association. Fenkl has left the Ziehl Abegg SE company and the FLT board. The board elected Udo Jung, TROX GmbH, as deputy chairman.
Dr. Alexander Schmeink will take over the management of the FLT office after Harald Gustmann retired at the end of May. Schmeink is an officer in the VDMA's General Air Handling/Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technology Association as well as in the Forschungsvereinigung Forschungsrat Kältetechnik e.V. In the future, he will be responsible for the technical supervision of the AHU/TGA and fan working groups as well as the project-accompanying committees.
