At this year's general meeting of the FiT on 12.09.2024 in Dresden, one of the items on the agenda was the regular election of the new Board of Directors. Former Board member Andreas Pradel stepped down from the Board at his own request.
All other members of the previous Board stood for election and presented their visions and goals for the FiT. As a new candidate, Birgit Fruggel (Schaeffler) focused on her expertise from a user perspective.
The statements of all candidates were so convincing that the new board was elected in a block vote within a very short time. The previous Chairman Michael Flämmich was confirmed in his office just as quickly, and Rainer Straub remains his deputy.
