Evonik is launching Tego Dispers 658, a sustainable dispersing additive. The product is readily biodegradable with a similarly high performance profile to comparable Evonik products. Manufacturers of pigment preparations and colored coatings can thus make their production more sustainable.
"When used in universal pastes, the dispersing additives from the Tego Dispers 65x family are characterized by high reliability of pigment stabilization and maximum flexibility in use: Everything is possible, from use in waterborne wall paint to the formulation of a high-solids door coating," says Frank Kleinsteinberg, Head of Application Technology Pigment Concentrates. The dispersing additive minimizes the potential impact on aquatic organisms while maintaining the same performance.
