Veolia Water Technologies optimizes the energy consumption of its industrial evaporators. As an alternative to wastewater disposal, evaporator systems form an efficient closed-loop solution.

Evaporating wastewater instead of disposing of it at high cost offers many advantages. Disposal costs and water consumption are reduced. Important raw materials can be returned to the production process. In short, evaporator systems are an efficient closed-loop solution for polluted wastewater substreams and can be an important building block for sustainable industrial production. Veolia Water Technologies is adding new models to its Evaled evaporator series.

The RV F 12 model is a wastewater evaporator based on the principle of mechanical vapor recompression. The plant has a distillate capacity of 500 liters per hour and operates with the forced circulation principle, which stands for high availability of the evaporator and the lowest possible cleaning effort as well as minimal chemical consumption. In design, the main focus was on optimizing energy consumption as well as the user interface. Other models are suitable for plants with low wastewater partial flows.
