In total, the European Coatings Show occupies eight exhibition halls, six of which are devoted exclusively to coating raw materials, printing ink raw materials, adhesive raw materials, construction chemical intermediates and related services. As the meeting place for the coatings industry, the European Coatings Show Conference presents forward-looking trends. Topics also include the current shortage of raw materials and rising raw material prices. The results of the Decoat project, an EU-funded international research cooperation, will also be presented. Here, a solution is being developed to enable the use of textiles and plastic parts with (multilayer) coatings based on the closed-loop principle.
