With the new Mink MV 0360 A Ecotorque, Busch Vacuum Solutions is expanding its family of Mink claw vacuum pumps. Equipped with Ecotorque technology and an IE5 permanent-magnet synchronous motor, the unit is designed for energy-efficient, reliable, and user-friendly operation in industrial vacuum applications.
According to the manufacturer, the Mink MV 0360 A Ecotorque is the world’s first claw vacuum pump with an integrated IE5 permanent-magnet motor. Compared with conventional IE3 asynchronous motors, it can achieve energy savings of up to 10 percent. The variable-speed Ecotorque drive automatically adjusts performance to process demand, reducing energy consumption and operating costs across the entire vacuum range by a further 50 percent.
The new model provides a pumping speed of up to 360 m³/h and an ultimate pressure of 100 mbar. A speed-independent fan ensures temperature monitoring even at low operating speeds. A pressure sensor replaces the mechanical vacuum relief valve, enabling precise control and extending the operating range.
The plug-and-pump design allows for straightforward installation of the vacuum pump. A Harting connector and easily accessible interfaces simplify setup and integration. Using the Busch Vacuum Manager software, operators can monitor parameters such as power consumption and pressure, switch between control modes, and activate Eco mode for additional energy savings.
According to the manufacturer, the Mink MV 0360 A Ecotorque has a smaller footprint than other vacuum pumps in its class. Its efficiency and energy-saving options are intended to enable a rapid return on investment. Thanks to its low-maintenance design, the vacuum pump is suitable for woodworking, pneumatic conveying, vacuum lifting, and pick-and-place applications.
