And it's more environmentally friendly than older models: a FourCore model rated at 160 kW reduces greenhouse gas emissions by the amount of carbon sequestered by 181 acres of forest compared to a conventional compressor running 8,000 hours per year. In addition, the new 200 kW model uses 22 percent less material compared to a conventional two-stage compressor and can help reduce waste by up to 19 percent.
