Dr. Herrmann GmbH & Co. KG will become part of the IFO / QUBUS Group in July 2026. The merger will enable the companies involved to expand their joint service portfolio in the field of surface technology.
For existing Dr. Herrmann customers, structures and processes will remain unchanged. Contact persons, laboratory services, and the company's independent working methods will continue. The established powder symposium will also continue to take place and will be organized by the IFO / QUBUS Group from 2027 onwards.
Strengthening expertise in surface technology
The integration will pool the expertise and services of the companies involved. IFO Institut für Oberflächentechnik GmbH and QUBUS Planung und Beratung Oberflächentechnik GmbH will thus expand their expertise in the areas of laboratory services, consulting, and qualification.
The merger is taking place against the backdrop of increasing demands on quality assurance, process stability, and technological development in surface technology.
