Rehm Thermal Systems has reorganized its operational management effective October 1, 2026. Dr. Hannes Reinhardt will assume overall responsibility for the company as CEO. Founder Johannes Rehm is stepping back from day-to-day operations and will continue to support the company’s future development as Founder & Chairman. He will also remain the sole shareholder of Rehm Thermal Systems GmbH.
With this reorganization, the company is establishing a long-term succession plan. At the same time, the new management structure is intended to combine continuity with new impetus for international and technological advancement.
Experience in International High-Tech Industries
Dr. Reinhardt has more than 30 years of international leadership experience and has held executive positions for over 25 years. His career includes stints at SKF, Saurer Textile Components, Oerlikon Solar, and Tokyo Electron Solar, among others. There, he held roles such as COO, Vice President, and Global Head of Operations. From 2016 to 2024, he served as Executive Vice President at Manz AG, focusing on the solar, battery, and high-tech machinery and plant engineering sectors.
Reinhardt has been with Rehm Thermal Systems since July 2026. As CCO, COO, and CEO-designate, he has, according to the company, already immersed himself in the company’s markets, customers, and international structures. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for locations and operations in Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, China, India, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States.
Focus on Growth and Technology
In his new role, Reinhardt will drive the strategic and operational development of Rehm Thermal Systems. The focus will be on strengthening the core business, tapping into international growth potential, further developing the organization and processes, and managing innovation and technology. Other key areas include international operations, supply chain management, production, and project management.

Founder Remains Strategically Involved
Johannes Rehm will remain closely connected to the company as Founder & Chairman and intends to support Dr. Reinhardt, particularly on long-term strategic issues. The roles are thus clearly defined: Operational responsibility lies with the CEO, while the founder oversees strategic development and continues to manage selected corporate and customer relationships.
