Dörken: Zinc flake solutions effectively protect components against corrosion

Dörken is known for its micro-layer corrosion protection systems and can already look back on over130 years of experience in coatings. This year, the company is not only presenting zinc flake solutions at SurfaceTechnology.

The pressure is intensified by environmental regulations, geopolitical complexity and the continuous development of materials and technologies. Not least against this background, SurfaceTechnology Germany from June 4 to 6 will be an important forum. In addition to the zinc flake solutions, which effectively protect various components against corrosion, the company's commitment to chemical restrictions is also highlighted. For example, Dörken proactively developed PFAS-free products even before the ban on perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) proposed by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

The Delta-Protekt TC 502 GZ Topcoat with its very narrow friction coefficient window on screws and nuts is one of these PFAS-free products. With this innovation presented last year, Dörken has been nominated for the Stuttgart Surface Technology Award "Die Oberfläche", which honors innovative applications and technologies. The award ceremony, at which the final winners will be announced, will take place on June 4.
