DiTEC introduces new electrolyte manager for galvanic process control

With the electrolyte manager, DiTEC is expanding its PROGAL.PLATTFORM with a digital module for the automated maintenance of electroplating baths. This year, the company can also look back on 30 years of automation expertise.

At this year's ZVO Surface Treatment Days, DiTEC presented a new module within PROGAL.PLATTFORM: the Electrolyte Manager. The solution digitizes and automates the maintenance of electroplating baths and supports companies in controlling process stability, resource use and quality verification more efficiently. The electrolyte manager enables the continuous recording of relevant process data and provides users with clear instructions for re-dosing, bath maintenance and documentation - a building block for improved process reliability in electroplating operations.

Extension of the PROGAL.PLATTFORM

The electrolyte manager complements the Progal platform, which has been helping to control the use of electricity, water and chemicals for many years. Progal can be used to simplify work on the coating system. It combines system control, post-treatment, waste water technology and robot-assisted loading and unloading systems. All of the platform's modules can be used individually, but they really come into their own when used together. Dashboards, app solutions and various evaluation functions help to map the entire process chain transparently and efficiently.

Continuous further development based on practical experience

DiTEC relies on practical software development and a close exchange with plant manufacturers, users and research institutes for its systems. More than 1,000 installations worldwide are proof of the platform's widespread use. The electrolyte manager is a further step towards automating electroplating processes in a targeted manner and simplifying their operation.

Anniversary: 30 years of DiTEC

The company was founded 30 years ago when Dierk Langer and Dr. Siegfried Kahlich developed the first self-optimizing, freely programmable controller for electroplating systems while they were still students. Today, authorized signatory Nico Kahlich continues the further development of the company.
