Denios SE has received DIBt approval, an official certificate from the German Institute for Building Technology in Berlin, for its self-developed SpillGuard connect leakage warning detector. SpillGuard connect is functional at the touch of a button and can be used in any drip tray. SpillGuard connect detects a leak thanks to a built-in sensor and sounds an alarm. Customers are informed by e-mail or SMS in real time and are thus able to immediately rectify the situation and prevent major hazards.
The regular visual inspection of all catch basins in a plant, as required by the operator's duty, is no longer necessary with the new reporting system. Until now, several hours per week had to be planned for the mandatory inspection of, for example, 20 collection trays. Valuable working time that can now be used more sensibly thanks to the DIBt approval. In compliance with the Water Resources Act (WHG), the SpillGuard connect replaces this weekly visual inspection of the catch basins. In addition, the customer can have a protocol issued to prove for audits that all catch basins have been permanently monitored by the SpillGuard connect used.
