An electronics manufacturer decided to use SeaDry Hook 1200g from ThoMar to secure a sea freight container. The desiccant was attached to the lashing eyes on the container walls to prevent condensation. In addition to this load securing measure for the complete container, inbox desiccants were integrated into the packaging on the pallets to ensure maximum moisture protection.
Moisture at a safe level
The combined use of SeaDry plus inbox desiccant proved its worth - the humidity was kept at a safe level during the eight-week transport. Both the electronic components and the packaging (aids) arrived at their destination without any damage. Ten pieces of SeaDry container desiccant were enough to reliably protect the entire load of a 40-foot container.
