Cold Jet announces the launch of a new series of dry ice blasting machines. The mechanics of the powerful and precise PCS Ultra and PLT Ultra units are resistant to moisture and cold.

The Aero2 Ultra series from Cold Jet, a provider of dry ice cleaning and production solutions, is equipped with robust, powerful motors, gearboxes and controls. These mechanisms are moisture-resistant and equipped with cold-resistant motors. The metal gearboxes improve durability, reliability and efficiency, while direct-drive blade motors increase performance. Machine stability has also been upgraded with new proprietary controls and motor drivers.

Improved user-friendliness

Thanks to the new in-house firmware and hardware, errors are virtually eliminated. Cold Jet offers comprehensive service and support for the intuitive dry ice blasting machines. The Aero2 Ultra series features a new external panel with a microSD card reader and an Ethernet port, both of which provide reliable connectivity. This design ensures seamless integration with Cold Jet Connect for remote recipe management and analysis, allowing operators to optimize their cleaning processes for maximum efficiency.

Overall machine performance

The consolidated pneumatic components ensure easier maintenance, color-coded hoses for clear identification, and more durable blast hoses and applicators. The new core component protection system protects the core elements of the machine in dusty environments. With the new patent-pending defrost cycle, operators can quickly and easily clear blockages by using this function via the operator interface and/or in conjunction with the applicator, extending machine uptime. In addition, the machines feature new one-piece side panels for improved structural integrity and a professional appearance, a redesigned bumper for easier hose connection, and improved components such as rollers, hose hangers and power connections for better functionality and durability.
