Cromax, Axalta's refinish brand, presents its new Chroma Matt System clearcoat. The system includes two matte clearcoats - CC6020 Chroma Matt System Clearcoat and CC6010 Chroma Semi Matt System Clearcoat. The intermixable clearcoats offer refinishers six different matt levels - from matte (5 GU) to semi-matte (65 GU). In addition, paintwork with super-matt surfaces can also be repaired by simply changing the product combination.
The CC6020 Chroma Matt System and CC6010 Chroma Semi Matt System clearcoats are based on a new technology that uses advanced fine-grain matting agents. In this way, it can ensure perfect accuracy in gloss levels. Repair costs can be estimated very accurately due to the reliability of the clear coats. Process times and drying times have been reduced.
