Another presentation highlights the electrodeposition of Fe-Cr-Ni alloys used for low-alloy steels. These alloy coatings form a substitution option for coatings previously deposited from REACH-regulated Cr(VI) electrolytes and are an alternative to bright chromium systems. The final presentation will highlight possible alternatives for hexavalent chromium plating in rotogravure printing and the resulting challenges and special features.
