The Copper Symposium of the Copper Association and the University of Jena will take place on November 18 and 19. Abstracts for scientific presentations can be submitted until April 1.

The Copper Symposium is one of the most important materials science events on the subject of copper. Participants can expect expert presentations on materials and production technology as well as new research approaches. The conference takes place every two years and offers industry, research and universities the opportunity to optimize dialog and intensify cooperation.

This year's focus is on simulation/modeling, digitization, new materials, additive manufacturing, joining, process engineering, and nano and surface technology. Those who would like to participate as a speaker can upload their abstract as a PDF directly on the website. Independently of participation as a speaker, scientific posters can also be submitted, which will be presented in an exhibition accompanying the event. It is also possible to book an exhibition stand. The complete program is expected to be available online at www.kupfer.de by the end of May 2023.
