As part of its own training and continuing education program TrainingsWerk, Nordwest offers a course that is unique on the market in terms of form and compactness: the "Certified Welding Technology Specialist Northwest" in theory and practice. The second edition of the course was held at the SchweißerCampus in Krefeld. All 12 participants passed the final examination. The next five-day course is scheduled for September 4 to 8, 2023.
The participants were able to acquire skills for various welding processes at welding workstations. One focus topic was dedicated to the relationship between PPE, basic and filler materials, or gas, in order to convey the diversity of welding technology to the participants. They were able to acquire know-how from eleven speakers from the leading welding industry.
