The AR app was developed as part of the SmARtPlaS (Smart Augmented Reality Plating Services) research project. The app is intended to enable predictive maintenance in production and make important information visible at a glance in the appropriate place.
Virtual data boards can be placed in production for the SmARtPlaS app, on which - via interfaces to plants and to the ERP - corresponding information and measured values are shown, for example bath temperature, temperature curves, concentrations in baths, and maintenance information such as planned maintenance work. In addition to texts, the app can also show graphics, e.g. diagrams, and display external links that can be called up via buttons. Maintenance and plant information is displayed exactly where it is needed.
