The German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT) has presented the FiT2clean Award every year since 2022. The award recognizes outstanding achievements and new solutions to current challenges in industrial component cleaning. The application phase for the €10,000 prize has begun and runs until August 15, 2025. Suppliers and users from all areas of industrial cleaning technology are eligible to enter.
Cross-sectional technology component cleaning
New products and changing process chains in industrial cleaning technology are leading to changes in applications and new tasks in component cleaning. "As a quality gate, the cleanability of components determines whether their production is technically and economically viable," says Dr. Michael Flämmich, CEO of FiT. In addition, the resource efficiency of cleaning processes and the resultingCO2 footprint are increasingly becoming a decision-making criterion. "With the FiT2clean Award, the trade association is helping to promote and advance innovative solutions and outstanding achievements in industrial parts cleaning," says Flämmich.
Applications in three categories
National and international manufacturers, suppliers and users from all areas of industrial cleaning technology can take part. Innovations, currently implemented product ideas and further developments in the areas of innovation, ecology and QSRein 4.0: system solutions for knowledge-based process management in industrial parts cleaning can be submitted.
Award ceremony at parts2clean
The applications will be evaluated by an independent jury of experts. The 4th FiT2clean Award will be presented at parts2clean on October 9, 2025. Further information is available on the FiT website(www.fit-online.org/fit2clean).
