The ALD for Industry conference on March 17 and 18, 2026 in Eindhoven will link scientific developments with industrial applications in the field of atomic layer deposition.

On March 17 and 18, 2026, the ninth edition of the ALD for Industry conference will take place in Eindhoven. The conference sees itself as a bridge between basic scientific research and the industrial application of atomic layer deposition (ALD) technologies.

The event is organized by the European Research Association for Thin Films. The two-day program combines technical presentations, an industrial exhibition and a tutorial. It is aimed at a broad specialist audience from research, development and production.

Focal points range from semiconductors to biotechnology

The event will focus on developments in atomic layer processing such as spatial ALD, selective deposition and roll-to-roll processes. The specialist focus will be on semiconductor production, power electronics, advanced packaging, MEMS, sensor technology as well as energy and future technologies such as hydrogen, photovoltaics, bio or quantum technologies. Other topics include new materials, precursors, plasma technologies and sustainability aspects in process development.

Accompanying program with tutorial and industrial exhibition

The industrial exhibition accompanies the conference with information on coating and system technology, measurement technology and consumables. An accompanying tutorial offers basic knowledge and new impulses for beginners and specialist users.
