Adphos is expanding its business with battery manufacturers: Earlier this year, the company delivered two aNIR drying and thermal process systems for sheet-based battery production with productivity of up to 500 components per hour. The aNIR solutions have reduced drying and thermal processes from several minutes per component to less than three seconds, even for layer thicknesses of several hundred microns. The customer also realized the subsequent sintering of printed electrocoatings on plastic films with aNIR solutions.
Adphos is currently involved in a number of projects with major international manufacturers of capacitors and printed electronics. These involve the systematic evaluation, development and introduction of Adphos technologies into industrial application processes.
