The mechanical cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaning bath can be quantitatively determined with an acoustic measurement of the cavitation strength. The measurement method is published in the technical specification IEC TS 63001 and provides reliable and repeatable numerical values of cavitation strength despite the random behavior of ultrasound. The "Cavispector" measuring device developed by Köchel Verfications can be used to check and improve ultrasonic cleaning devices and cleaning processes. By setting a process window for the cavitation strength, even sensitive surfaces can be cleaned gently. The company offers analysis and consulting as a service.
