Economical and high quality in small series

Producing refrigerated and deep-freeze cabinets in stock was yesterday. The Spanish specialist for commercial refrigeration Frost-trol equips large chains in the food trade with brand-specific configured systems in the field of commercial refrigeration exactly according to customer requirements and commissioned a state-of-the-art production facility for this purpose.

To design each customer order individually means an enormous challenge to the flexibility of a production. Frost-trol met this challenge. Based on a large amount of material flow and process data and extensive simulations, Frost-trol calculated the optimum configuration for the new powder coating line. Instead of conventional booths, it now uses two ColorMax3 booths with HDLV dense phase technology from Nordson. Powder is transported by the Encore HD pumps, which deliver the powder very evenly and accurately. Nordson HDLV (High Density, Low Velocity) dense phase technology allows up to 40 product and color changes daily.
