Passion for compressed air

(Oct. 2019/OM) - "Made in Germany" and available in every size and design - compressors from Renner are in use in many companies. Now the family-owned company is celebrating its anniversary. The next expansion for the of the line is already planned.

Compressors blow air through paint spray guns, help robots lift parts and give power to industrial plants. Annette and Bernt Renner have been involved with compressors for 25 years now. Today, the medium-sized, family-run company employs 165 people in development, production, sales and administration.

It all started with an advertisement in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce newspaper: A small compressor company in Güglingen in the Heilbronn district was for sale. Bernt Renner and his wife Annette decided to take over and so Renner GmbH Kompressoren was founded on July 1, 1994.

"We started with three people back then," recalls Bernt Renner. Four years later, there were already ten employees - the space was no longer sufficient and a new building became necessary. "In 2000, we were able to put our own office and production hall into operation. Today, we employ over one hundred and sixty-five people and we continue to expand." Thus, a production site in Bautzen is now also part of the company.

Renner compressors are manufactured entirely in Germany - with state-of-the-art production processes in every size and design. To ensure "Made in Germany" quality, the company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2006. Compressors from Güglingen are present worldwide and the extensive program covers many applications. Oil and water-injected screw compressors are just as much a part of the range as piston compressors.

A special highlight are the oil-free SCROLL compressors. These are systems with frequency control or direct drive in a power range of 1.5 - 355 kW. Renner also supplies accessories for compressed air applications. Sales are made exclusively through specialized dealers.
