Good dynamics at PaintExpo 2026

PaintExpo 2026 has developed a remarkable dynamic under extremely demanding conditions. The economic uncertainties, travel restrictions in many companies and a pilot strike that took place at the same time could have had a significant impact on the course of the trade fair. Nevertheless, numerous exhibitors reported a very positive event - and were pleased with the quality and intensity of the discussions held. Many exhibitors saw visitor numbers in the range of 2024 - this is now confirmed by the trade fair's official figures: with 10,200 visitors, the 2026 event is at the same level as the previous event. 

Targeted requests

This obvious continuity underlines PaintExpo's stable position in the international trade fair calendar - especially against the backdrop of a tense economic environment. The internationality of the visitors was also praised. There was also broad agreement on one point: the quality of contacts has continued to improve. Numerous companies emphasize that the inquiries were significantly more specific and targeted than in previous years. This development had a noticeable impact on everyday life at the trade fair. Many stands were heavily frequented over long stretches. The focus was on specific investment projects. 

Filled order books

It is also pleasing that many exhibitors reported well-filled order books. Retrofit measures are obviously very popular at the moment - many exhibitors are setting clear priorities here in their portfolio.  In terms of content, PaintExpo 2026 once again presented the entire spectrum of industrial painting technology; the highlight topics this year were digitalization, automation and, for the first time, artificial intelligence on a larger scale.  CB
